Ours bees are attracted to the little white blooms on this ground cover we have. The plants are just abuzz with many bees doing their daily work. I wanted to try to capture them but it made me wish I was faster and that I had a macro lens. This little guy was kind enough to face the camera.

These are my favorite shoes. You can't tell in b&w but they are a fabulous brick red patent leather. You can't help but feel a little sexy in them. Even if you're having a fat day. Or, you know, a fat year.
